Identify barriers to client employment, such as in accessible work sites, inflexible schedules, and transportation problems and work with clients to develop strategies for overcoming these barriers. Provide employment services including: initial vocational evaluations, vocational guidance and planning, problem solving counseling, case documentation and management, employment services, and guidance.• Perform job development services and provide direct referrals to employment and training opportunities.• Maintain individual Employment Development Plans on all Veterans with significant barriers to employment.• Provide case management and career guidance services to Veterans with barriers to employment.• Provide counseling/vocational guidance, resume assistance and other workforce services to Veterans.• Visit various local employers to develop jobs for Veterans.• Visit local training providers and other agencies to promote maximum training and employment opportunities for Veterans.• Assist Veterans in filing for Unemployment Compensation and other benefits.• Assist with In-House recruitment, Job Fair and Mass recruitment's.• Provide basic labor market and labor resource information to job seekers.• Maintain network guide or Veterans to provide information on training providers’ supportive services, employment focused websites, and services available in the One-Stop Career Center delivery system.• Develop rehabilitation plans that fit clients' aptitudes, education levels, physical abilities, and career goals.• Prepare and maintain records and case files, including documentation such as services provided, narratives of client contacts, and relevant correspondence.• Performed job development services and provided direct referrals to employment and training opportunities.• Maintained Individual Employment Development Plan on veterans with barriers to employment.• Provided case management and career guidance to veterans with barriers.
