I was responsible for activities of a Pharmacy manager at a humanitarian hospital in Jibla, Yemen. These responsibilities included hiring and training technicians, patient consultation, formulary decisions and budget in a resource limited setting. My responsibilities included communication in Arabic and English languages. I left Yemen for new opportunities.

I worked at the Fontana Medical Center in Inpatient Pharmacy in a variety of roles, with a focus from 1984 to 1990 on Pharmacy Services for the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program. There was a Chemical Dependency pharmacy clerkship program for UOP and USC students during this time. In 1990 I was promoted to Pharmacist-In-Charge of the new Loma Linda.
