Local and Far East sourcing of recognised brands within the DIY industry as well as own label ranges across multiple product categories:Power Tools, Hand Tools, Flooring, Electrical, Plumbing, Bathroom accessories, Fuels, Heating, Timber, Insulation, Ironmongery, Party, Garden Chemicals, Paving, Fencing, Shelving, Ladders, Storage, Workwear.Maintaining a consistent review of market trends and competitive set to ensure the business meets customer expectations.Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and CEO.Developing strong interdepartmental and supplier relationships.Completing category range reviews to ensure the product offering is constantly updated to give customers the opportunity to purchase the latest designs.Developing pricing strategies for KVI lines to maximise value perception and deliver budgeted sales and margin.Liaising directly with store management and colleagues to share category plans and acquire customer feedback.Providing leadership and direction within the commercial team to deliver business objectives.Setting and effective management of annual budgets to ensure targets are achieved.Working with the Project Management and Space Planning teams on new store formats from initial scoping to completion.
