I am a dedicated and conscientious finance professional with a proven track record in delivering positive and quantifiable outcomes for clients. I currently lead the debt raising side of CKS Finance helping clients secure funding from alternative and traditional sources for a variety of purposes including; refinance and restructure of existing debt positions, debt settlement, MBIs, MBOs, new purchases and business expansion. Prior to CKS, I led a team of business relationship managers responsible for originating and completing Commercial Real Estate loans on behalf of Pepper Money.I previously worked for Ulster Bank Ireland Ltd, as a Relationship Manager (RM) in their Global Restructuring Group (GRG) and was responsible for a large and diverse portfolio of distressed Corporate, Property and Trading connections. During my time as an RM, I developed and implemented strategies appropriate to impaired loan facilities in order to deliver the best outcome for both the Bank and their clients. I had notable successes as an RM including the delivery of debt repayments amounting to €97 million on my portfolio in a single financial year. I restructured facilities, successfully negotiated and implemented upside agreements while working to stringent completion deadlines. I dealt with a diverse range of stakeholders including; senior management, credit committee board members, HNW individuals and their respective financial and legal advisors.On behalf of the Bank, I negotiated in difficult situations and received wide praise and commendation for my work on a number of high profile examinership cases. I directly managed people carrying out their appraisals and overseeing their development.While documenting transactions, I dealt one to one with the Bank’s legal and professional advisors. I played a lead role in successful equity raisings and obtained buy in from senior executives to obtain additional Bank support for borrowers when appropriate.
