During my Postgraduate course at the University I worked as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant within the department of Mechanical Aeronautical and Biomedical Engineering. Duties undertaken for this role included, teaching assistant for 1st, 3rd and 4th year students, private tuition for weaker students, supervising exams and correction of papers, as well as mentoring the final year projects of 2 mechanical engineering students.

Delivered lectures to students in the third year of completing a night course in the Advanced Technician Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering programme, conducted at the institute in conjunction with City and Guilds. Subject taught was Advanced Manufacturing and Management. Included development of lecture slides/notes according to C&G syllabus.

Worked as a Process Engineer for 8 months in the Lithography Metrology Initial Qualification group during my undergraduate course. The two projects I was involved with were the initial qualification of new metrology equipment and the cross qualification of existing equipment for the different products being manufactured at the plant.
