Instrumental in revitalizing this unique, 100-year old private estate in the Southern Catskills of New York; estate boasts 8500+ acres, 39 private homes, an 18,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with commercial kitchen and dining rooms, 4 private lakes, 2 private trout streams, several historic barns, modern shooting facilities, tennis courts, ball fields, boathouses, and private cabins. Manage 3 direct reports. * Facilities & Grounds Maintenance. Supervise and assist in maintaining facility roads, groundskeeping and mowing, building maintenance and renovations, farming for habitat, and seasonal openings and closings. Work with a licensed forester and with Cornell University on soil analysis and improving wildlife habitat.* Security & Premises Management. Oversee security systems and contractors; constantly monitor premises, including a semi-weekly regimented inspection process throughout the estate to monitor gas, water, electric, heat, security/vandalism, nuisance wildlife, and severe weather damage.* Event Management. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events within budget (hunting/fishing/shooting tournaments, holiday, social, etc.), including menu, wait staff/caterers, decorations, entertainment, seating and serving plans, and creating timetables. * Committee Affairs & Budgeting. Participate in committee activities, provide data for annual operating budgets, and research alternative solutions for capital/special project budgets.* Vendor Relations & Contracts. * Inventory Management. Maintain/monitor inventory, including those for machinery maintenance (oils, lubricants, filters), food provisions, kitchen supplies, linens/towels, janitorial supplies, and firewood.* Staff Management. In charge of staff hiring, training, development and annual performance reviews.

Management scope: events, staff, budget, purchasing ($200,000 volume), inventory, and pro shop. * Cost Reductions. Lowered annual operating costs (20% savings). Rebuilt trap machinery at a cost of $3000 (saving $7,000) and modernized the skeet machinery with the latest Swedish manufacturer's equipment - a move that kept the club in competitive mode nationally at a cost of $36,000 versus $50,000 in outside labor. * Revenue Growth. Drove membership growth/revenues by efficiently managing events, including providing food/refreshments utilizing outside caterers. Hosted state's largest tournaments; coordinated 6 major events every year (200-1000 attendees) and brought in the Briley Budweiser 500 nationally recognized tournament. * Productivity & Efficiency Improvements. Purchased a new commercial mower for the vast property, and developed improved groundskeeping systems that enhanced state of readiness in the physical plant and related maintenance equipment. * Staff Hiring & Training.
