I attended school in Minnesota to be an automotive technician. After years in the field I decided that I enjoyed the diagnostic portion of the job more than anything and wanted to try my hand with computers. I was able to transfer to local IT at the Larson Auto Group and performed that job for six months before getting an offer to work at CHI. I was brought on for end user support at St Joseph in Tacoma, WA and I have been at this position since January 2019. I travel and provide support to all the hospitals in the region as well. I have learned a lot as far diagnosing software and hardware issue since being at the hospital but I am always looking to learn more and broaden my skills. I have great communication skills and a good sense of time management. Between coordinating with users and teammates at different locations I have learned how to organize moves and set ups of computers and other needed hardware in a prompt and timely fashion. I am a hard, dedicated work who will put in the extra effort and isn’t afraid to ask for help.
