Initially learning about the products and services we offer across a wide variety of industry types, from Rail Maintenance and Manufacturing to Power Generation, Agriculture to Pharmaceuticals and more.I developed a good understanding of the products and their application within different industries using this knowledge to analyse trends within each market area, identifying ways in which to market to these areas and to create effective marketing campaigns to promote products, services and special offers to them and the specific needs within each area. I create the e-marketing design templates, liaise with suppliers to offer customers discount promotions, as well as work closely the sales department and customers to continually monitor and improve upon the strategies used and product ranges offered. I arranged and attended trade show exhibitions, developed the trade counter products and promotions, implemented e-marketing campaign strategies and attended seminars to continually improve my knowledge within the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics and marketing. I also assisted with the build their e-commerce site which will allow for Flotec to sell an ever expanding range of products directly to the customer online, with account facilities setup to offer customers their price structures on products.
