My role included taking calls first line from internal RBS employees regarding their IT issues/ queries, attempting to fix them first point or escalating to the appropriate 2nd/3rd level support teams for further investigation.Other responsibilities included being head of customer care for my team, consisting of ensuring my team were contacting users and making sure that they were kept up to date with the details of when their issue would be resolved, contributing to boosting the level of customer care provided to the end users.I also assisted a 2nd level systems support team with an business wide audit which ensured that all users had the correct level of access on their accounts as well as the correct contact info should we need to contact them in the future. This task included all of the banks 140,000 users which had to go through the process. I had to utilise several IT systems including Active Directory to check users access, as well as using Microsoft Excel that was used to store all the correct data using various commands.
