My career started in an operational role with the Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service and following a serious injury at a high-rise fire I moved into specialising in Fire Safety Engineering. I'm actively involved with promoting international best practice within the industry and have been instrumental in setting up a branch of the Institution of Fire Engineers in the Middle East (GCC UAE Branch).My professional journey has taken me from the UK to the UAE, delivering successful fire safety solutions in diverse regions, including the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Azerbaijan, and India.In leadership roles, my focus is on collaborative design and the adoption of international best practices. I pride myself on a proven track record of delivering projects that meet and exceed client objectives, fostering strong relationships with clients and Civil Defence authorities through pragmatic engineering solutions.My extensive experience covers fire codes, performance-based design, and fire & emergency response requirements. My passion for knowledge sharing has led me to present at numerous conferences and public speaking events across the UK, Asia, India, and the Middle East. Additionally, I regularly contribute articles to industry magazines, covering a wide range of fire safety topics relevant to different geographies.
