Responsible for the acquisition of new commercial banking Government clients and the expansion/retention of existing relationships across the Bank’s eight state footprint.o Lead a two person team to address all Government clients/prospects for both lending and treasury services across: WA, OR, ID, UT, NV, AZ, NM, TX.Structure, underwrite, negotiate and manage complex credit relationships.o Lending: Tripled the size of the Government portfolio, increasing loans/commitments from $75MM to $350MM.o Treasury: Incremental growth by adding new clients and increasing services for existing clients – deposits fluctuate between $750MM and $1BN.Responsible for developing and executing relationship management plans for high value clients; including effectively collaborating with client support and product teams as well as senior management.o For both lending and treasury, new business has been established and maintained with several State clients, and several high profile Cities, Counties, Utilities and Universities across the footprint.Knowledgeable of financial needs of Government clients and the Bank’s products, including loans, lines of credit, deposits and treasury services.o Lending: Conduct and manage all aspects of the Government underwriting process, including spreads, financial analysis, write/edit credit submittal, review loan legal documentation, book loan, write/edit annual credit comments, send out invoices and collect loan payments.o Treasury: Conduct and manage all aspects of the Government treasury sales and service process, including expansion of existing business, acquiring new business to involvement and oversight of all service issues.Act in compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.o 16-years as a Government Banking Relationship Manager. From 2006 to 2015 with Bank of America. From 2015 to Present with Washington Federal Bank.
