Responsible for the total oversight and management of the Authority, which included three (3) separate facilities and a 7-day Music Festival. Co-founded the Common Ground Music Festival in 2000, which became profitable in its third year, attracting nearly 100K fans, and continues to be a successful event for the City and Region.Responsible for the oversight and management of the daily operations, developed long term goals and led a diverse staff of 50 full time employees. Responsible for the development of the Authority’s operating and capital budgets. Worked closely with the LEPFA Board of Commissioners, City of Lansing staff, Lansing City Council, as well as other community leaders and organizations, in the development and execution of long-term objectives.
