Corallopyronin A, projected for phase I clinical trials in 2026 to treat river blindness and lymphatic filariasis, and epothilone B, the precursor to breast cancer drug Ixabepilone, exemplify the value of the library. MyxoTech is making this library of myxobacterial small molecules available to the pharmaceutical industry.
