    Nonlinear control of physiological systems, focusing mainly on the regulation of plasma glucose levels in case of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. This problem, referred as "Artificial Pancreas", has been investigated by my supervisor using LPV modelling and H-infinity robust controller methods. My task is to combine this framework with the latest findings in nonlinear control, and evaluate their applicability for this specific control case, considering practical constraints and limitations. Since all investigated methods are model-based, therefore modeling, prediction, and accurate estimation of signals not available for measurement are part of the research tasks as well.
