CurrentProviding technical quality support focused on consumer product companies selling appliances & accessories. Applying technical expertise in the analysis of consumer calls, returned samples and writing detailed failure analysis reports with corrective actions. Working directly with the Chinese manufacturer on the corrective actions and evaluating the effectiveness. Assessment includes the product design, performance, reliability, safety, instruction manual and quality such as process problems and workmanship. Providing technical assistance with the 3rd party listing (UL, ETL & SGS) effort and interpretation of the safety standards (best practices). Also, working with the client on preventative actions through detailed product assessment and implementing changes prior to market introduction.
