About Peter Thomson

As one of the Founders of 4Mile, I have seen the company go through many changes. Since our beginnings in 2015, the business has grown from strength to strength and 4Mile is now a thriving startup specialising in call centre solutions, business consultancy, payment solutions, fund raising and compliance advice for businesses of all sizes, all across Australia. In my role as CEO I work on enabling the growth of the company and facilitating our expansion. Outside of work, I enjoy sports such as skiing and rugby, and have a passion for science and technology. This passion means that I constantly make sure that 4Mile is using the best technology possible for the job at hand. I have an educational background in engineering and I use the knowledge and skills that I developed through this to design and integrate customised databases for our clients.

    As CEO of OneContact, formally Contact Centres Australia (CCA), I oversaw the company’s rebrand in 2016 to reflect our full breadth of services. Prior to the rebrand, I facilitated and negotiated the sale of Contact Centres Australia to Telkom Indonesia.OneContact delivers over 20 million conversations in Australia and New Zealand each year. In the past 3 years we have raised over 100 million dollars and processed more than 2 million transactions. After 14 years of continuous growth OneContact has evolved, recently reshaping the brand and name to reflect the full breadth of the organisation. OneContact operates from two sites in Australia and one in New Zealand. During my time at Contact Centres Australia, I have seen the company grow from 0 to 600 staff members with a unified service delivery across Australia and New Zealand. Our work in New Zealand saw the business expand into Wellington, NZ to bring a local approach to our clients. More recently, I negotiated and facilitated the purchase of CCA by Telkom Indonesia, the largest company in Indonesia. Since the sale, we have expended our business into Jakarta taking us to a presence in three countries. Following the sale, in 2016 I was promoted from CIO to CEO where I developed a rebrand of Contact Centres Australia to OneContact.
