Responsible for managing CleanCo's gas portfolio and identifying gas resource opportunities which are consistent with the strategic direction of the company.The key functions include:• Negotiation and execution of commercial arrangements, including gas supply and swap agreements, to secure competitively priced fuel for Swanbank E Power Station;• Management of CleanCo's existing gas sale, transport and compression agreements; • Development and implementation of commercial strategies to optimise gross margin from CleanCo’s energy resources;• Management of CleanCo’s upstream joint venture gas assets to optimise value to the energy portfolio;• Commercial analysis of potential upstream gas opportunities including exploration, production and storage; • Involvement in commercial projects within the Customer and Energy Markets team which have a focus on resource optimisation, including integration of CleanCo’s existing portfolio of assets with prospective renewable projects; and• Maintaining strong working relationships with energy suppliers and customers.

Responsible for managing Stanwell's gas portfolio and identifying gas resource opportunities which are consistent with the strategic direction of the company.The key functions are:• Negotiation, execution and management of Stanwell's gas sale, transport and compression agreements; • Development and implementation of commercial strategies to optimise gross margin from Stanwell’s energy resources;• Development and implementation of strategies to optimise the value extracted from Stanwell’s gas resources, including the sale and/or swap of available gas and transport capacity; • Managing Stanwell’s upstream joint venture gas assets to optimise value to the energy portfolio; and• Maintaining strong working relationships with energy suppliers and customers.Primary responsibility for a number of critical projects, including:• the commercial sale of Stanwell's available gas resources over a period of up to 3 years;• identification and execution of a number of short term gas supply and transport agreements to maximise the value of Stanwell's gas portfolio; • divestment of upstream gas assets; and• Stanwell's participation in the Wallumbilla Hub.

A number of roles within the Treasury portfolio, including:• Account Manager for Stanwell Corporation and Energex Limited;• Project Lead on State Water Infrastructure Projects;• Project Lead on the sale of Sunlover HolidaysAccount Manager - Stanwell and Energex:• monitored, reported and analysed key infrastructure projects, financial data and policy proposals• facilitated the Government approval of a number of critical projects including a Power Purchase Agreement, a Rail Transport Agreement and a Mining Servcies Agreement• mantained strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior management of Stanwell and EnergexProject Lead - State Water Infrastructure Projects:• managed, from a Treasury perspective, a range of substantial and highly complex projects relating to the water industry reforms ($8 billion in infrastructure over 3 years)• established the new SEQ water authorities• in conjunction with the Queensland Water Commission, development and verification of the water pricing methodology for SEQ bulk water prices, and subsequent scenario testing for State Budget purposesProject Lead - Asset Sale:• project managed the sale of Sunlover Holidays, a Queensland Government owned travl wholesaler with sales of approximately $150M p.a.

Account Manager on a number of portfolios across the Queensland Government including Queensland Health and Department of Communities. These roles included:• provision of high level strategic policy advice on health service delivery and related social and economic poliy issues• strong working relationship with senior management of State Government departments; non-government organisations and the private sector• project lead, from a Treasury perspective, on a number of significant projects including the development and analysis of Queensland Health's enterprise bargaining agreements (salaries of $2.8B; 45,000 staff); and a review of Queensland Health's capital program (over $600M p.a.)
