Vertical CNC Mill machinist (3- 5 axis)- set up/ run production altering offsets as needed. Run CNC lathe. Set up and run manual mills/ lathes/ surface grinder/ horizontal band saw/ EDM and CMM.

Make set up on Haas CNC Vertical Machining Centers and run precision machined (milling) parts per blueprint.

I was hired into the company bringing over 25 years of hands on machine shop experience in milling,turning- precision machining. During my first 6 months on the job the owner saw/ came to see that I was more than merely a machinist as I had my own machine shop business in the past. Due to the economic slow down with the stock market debacle in October, 2008 I was forced to close the doors at J&P Machine. I began as the machinist/ tool maker. I did short run/ modified existing pieces per sketch/ verbal instructions. I later replaced the inspector/ became supervisor and ran- organized the tool crib.

Roofing- replace/ repair, Tile- fix ceramic shower wall and install linoleum tile flooring. Install light fixture with ceiling fan/ chandelier with dimmer switch, change electrical outlets and light switches. Clean (main) drain- clean the breather tube from the roof, install new water efficient toilets, replace kitchen/ bathroom faucets and change garbage disposals. Repair/ patch drywall,& prime/ paint. Install Cable for Computer/ TV. Remove replace and seal (wood) fencing and gates. Remove trees roots and all. Stucco repair.

Precision machining (mill/ turn) on a variety of parts various metals and plastics for defense/ aerospace, the automotive after market, machine automation components and the printing industry, to injection mold assemblies for Pelican Products. I dealt with people from the Department of Defense to Engineers and Quality Assurance personnel from Small Businesses. I worked for people in the marina making custom parts for their boats per verbal instruction and dimensions given to me by their mechanics.

General machining- mold making. Made parts per print and interacted with engineering, as needed. Had a good working relationship with fellow machinists and supervisors.

I began working at JT Manufacturing on conventional machines. Both vertical/ horizontal milling and horizontal lathes. Received exposure to CNC turning when the company acquired two turning centers-Warner & Swasey 1 SC NC lathes and later a CNC Bridgeport Vertical mill. .
