Youth Care Organisations in our country (The Netherlands) face the problem of not finding enough people who even want the jobs (scarcity) and I suppose this is not a typical Dutch problem.As a result, applicants get the benefit of the doubt more and more and employers are forced to change their focus from ‘finding the ones we want’ to ‘developing the available’. Here's where I appear in the story, playing the role of the Guide's, supporting the Heroes (those with the vocation to assist children and youngsters who need special care and protection) by offering them a plan.
