Peter commenced his career at EY (Ernst & Young) soon after completing his Bachelor of Economics degree. During his career progression he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was chosen to spend 2 years at the firm's National Office in Sydney and had responsibility for accounting & auditing standards for the whole Australian practice of EY. After returning to Melbourne he became the Senior Manager in charge of the firm's largest audit client in Australia at that time.
