It is a key source of advice and research on what Australia needs to fill the infrastructure gap. We recently completed a comprehensive audit. In Feb. 2016 we issued Australia's first comprehensive infrastructure plan and priority list. We are currently working with the States and Territories in the preparation of their business cases and in addition are undertaking a reform agenda. Asset CoPty Ltd is a specialist asset management company owned by IFMinvestors, one of the largest Australian industry superannuation fund managers. Asset Co was created for the purpose of managing Public Private Partnership (PPP) investments. IFM has a substantial PPP portfolio which includes the $300M Headquarters Joint Operations Command (JOCHQ) in Canberra, the $194M District Courts Complex in Perth and the $365M Southern Cross Station (SCS) facility in Melbourne (among others). These form the initial seed assets for Asset Co management.

Regional Rail Link was a landmark infrastructure project designed to remove bottlenecks in Victoria’s rail network. The project, jointly funded by the Victorian and Australian governments came in under time and under budget as well as meeting all stated objectives. Peter worked in senior executive roles from 1993 and then in 1999 became the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transfield services. (Transfield Services is a leading provider or maintenance and asset management services) and expanded the organisation into 11 industries including Property and Defence services, Power, Transport, Transmission and Distribution, Telecommunications, Water, Road, Rail, Mining and Process, Oil and Gas and Oil Refineries.In 2001 Peter was instrumental in the successful listing Transfield Services on the Australian stock exchange. Over the next 8 years he expanded the business internationally into Canada, USA, India, South America, Asia and the Middle East, whilst achieving CAGR in EBITA and NPat over the period of 26%.During this period Peter also became a Director of several joint ventures including Transfield Services Flint, Transfield services Worley, Transfield Services General Electric and became a Director of Yarra Trams. Peter also became a Director of the Transfield Infrasructure fund which was listed in 2006 and mentored and coached the leadership team.
