I am currently a Junior at the Haslam College of Business in the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with a collateral in Business Analytics and a minor in Computer Science. One of my strengths is individualization, which allows me to pinpoint qualities of every person and create effective groups accordingly. I implemented this strength as a recruitment captain for the interfraternity council, where I assisted new members in finding the community that was right for them. Another one of my strengths is developing, which allows me to identify and maximize potential in individuals. I exercised this strength as a tennis coach, where I analyzed every client’s strengths and potential, and executed a development strategy that would cater to them personally. I can use these strengths to help me reach my career goals after college.After graduating, I plan to pursue a Master’s of Accountancy at the Haslam College of Business. Obtaining a graduate degree will allow me to eventually become a Certified Public Accountant. After getting my CPA, I am aiming to become a public auditor at a large firm. I also love to travel and explore, so I would love a position that allows me to go to many different places.
