As Plant Controller I serve as an integral member of the manufacturing senior leadership team providing financial and analytical guidance, effective internal controls, policy compliance oversight, and timely and insightful reporting. I also identify and lead productivity improvements for this manufacturing location through the operational planning process, product costing, and the annual budgeting process.

A world leading manufacturer of proprietary and open-line commercial textiles, including panel fabric, upholstery, wall covering, cubicle curtains and more Reporting to the VP Finance I am responsible for cost accounting, inventory control, and reporting operational performance and metrics. Provide direction to finance personnel at two other locations regarding standard costs, inventory issues and operating performance analytics. Heavily involved in the budgeting process driving the materials, direct labor and overhead portions of the budget. Partner with manufacturing and other departments to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuations. Manage the standard cost revision process.

An integrated groundwood pulp and paper company producing 250,000 tons per year of directory and newsprint grade paper with on-site recycling facility. I perform product costing of paper, departmental budgeting, inventory valuation, labor tracking, maintenance labor allocation, monthly general ledger closings, and financial analysis.
