My main duties are joining and fitting out carbon masts, sorting and fitting out boats, Rope splicing. Test rigging and test sailing boats. Research and development of rigging gear and techniques.I'm also the store man which includes all purchasing and sorting of 'goods in' as well as researching suppliers and cheaper resources.It's a great place to work with a good group of staff, with plenty of support and best of all, it's a business that is definitely on the up!

Been a part of my local lifeboat crew since 2006, it's something I was only ever going to do, my dad is a former crew member back in the days of the Oakley class, fond memories of maroons going BOOM and off he'd go. I've worked my way up to the position of Helmsman, currently the youngest Helmsman on station. I'm also currently a training navigator on our all weather boat. Nothing beats the musical bleeping and buzzing of the pager, or the rush of a successful shout!

Beach life! Great job with an awesome group of people throughout the years!I worked my way up from being a 'beach hand' to safety boater to assisstant instructor, from there I attended a training instructor course at Plas Menai and gained my dinghy and windsurf instructor tickets. after a few more years on the beach I gained my powerboat advanced and then finally my senior instructor ticket.Definitely a career I'd recommend
