I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a combined 11 years of work experience working with people in different roles and learning different skills. Looking to gain more experience and grow with a professional career.My education in archaeological, cultural, biological anthropology has developed through experiences in the classroom, field school, and an internship at the Chattanooga zoo. The time doing coursework for the University of Tennessee has furthered my abilities in qualitative and quantitative research and data interpretation. While attending my field school I was able to work in southern Georgia learning historical and prehistoric archaeological differences in artifacts. My biological experiences came from my work at the Chattanooga zoo with the small mammals including langurs and my work in forensic anthropology on campus working with human bones.With my work experiences I have gained skills working with the public in retail roles such as Best Buy. Learning medical terminology in my roles as an optometric technician for Visionworks and veterinary assistant. I have learned to operate a multi-line telephone system along with different computer programs to complete training and schedule appointments. I have leadership skills from working as a co-manager and dog trainer which had me instructing on projects. On a personal overview I’ve been told I have a good attitude and try to keep smiling through the rough times. I constantly try to learn new skills and enjoy the process of learning. In my free time I enjoy playing video games, hiking, writing poetry, and oil painting.
