I managed all aspects of the System Air Conditioning category. This involved many duties & responsibilities such as forecasting, new product development in conjunction with R&D, launching, marketing strategy & execution, price management, reporting & analysis, marketing material creation & maintenance, sales reporting etc. I worked daily with teams from across the business within the Australian subsidiary as well as Korean headquarters. My role was extremely fast-paced, highly demanding and required a very strong business acumen with knowledge of key systems & processes across all aspects of the business. Multi-tasking was a key skill as was the ability to prioritise and work to a deadline on multiple projects simultaneously.

In my position as Marketing Coordinator and then Assistant Product Manager at Actron I had category responsibility for the Samsung brand which was distributed by Actron. I also had wide ranging duties within the marketing department including event management, marketing material creation, website maintenance, training etc as well as ad hoc duties relating to the marketing function for the business.

Initially starting as a Marketing Assistant in my first full time role I performed ad hoc marketing duties such as reporting, website maintenance, marketing material creation, liaison with external agencies, organising trade shows & events, responding to customer enquiries and other ad hoc duties. I was subsequently promoted to Assistant Product Manager working with a Product Manager as well as having responsibility for my own category. This included planning & strategy, pricing, reporting, catalogue creation, attending and selling product at trade shows, market intelligence, new product development and launch, marketing material creation etc as well as assisting with the above for my Product Manager's category.
