A bit of serendipity runs throughout my career. I’ve been fortunate to be in the right place, with the right products, with the right people at the right time, working early-on in technologies that have helped transform our world: personal computers, cell phones, green NiZN batteries, intelligent transportation, retail sales and retail security. I’ve assembled award-winning sales teams helping to launch the mobile phone industry, beginning at Seattle-based McCaw Cellular then on to AT&T Wireless. Worked with a team at AT&T Wireless that nationalized the retail store channel by standardizing the "look and feel", store operations, as well as customer engagement while building out the AT&T Wireless retail store footprint from 250 stores to more than 2,000. Also, worked internationally opening the AT&T Wireless network on the island of Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.At ZincFive--the leader in nickel-zinc (NiZn), clean battery technologies-- boosted sales by 200 percent; built excellent channel partnerships; initiated and managed Quality Product List (QPL) approvals with North America's largest departments of transportation (DOT’s); advocated for new product designs; negotiated a Private Label agreement with one of the largest North American traffic product companies and helped build new business and find new investors.Most recently, I was rehired at MTI as Sr. Director of Global Partnerships. MTI is a global retail security solutions innovator serving the largest and most highly regarded global consumer electronics brands.
