Advisory Role for "One Canon"; Management Council....An Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a rigorous description of the structure of an enterprise, its decomposition into subsystems, the relationships between the subsystems, the relationships with the external environment, the terminology to use, and the guiding principles for the design and evolution of an enterprise. My prime responsibilities as a European Infrastructure Architect where: • Analyze, design and deploy the infrastructure architecture to meet the technical and business requirements.• Provide the expertise and guidance to peers, leadership and associates on the overall infrastructure architecture as it relates to the IT and business strategies,- Create architectural standards,- Define processes to ensure conformance to standards,- Develop and maintain an infrastructure roadmap that provides reduced overall complexity and increased cost efficiency.• Develop and maintain the infrastructure strategies that results in efficient and effective use of our infrastructure information technology products and services.• Document the infrastructure architecture environment and procedures to insure our infrastructure remains cost effective, efficient, and of high quality.• Maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies and products to ensure that our assets are effectively and efficiently utilized.• Provide technical IT expertise to, and assist in, the selection of new hardware and software platforms which assists in attaining the enterprise architecture goals.As European Infrastructure Architect I reported to the Senior General Manager ICT & Operations Infrastructure Competence Center.
