General Manager Service Delivery
CurrentThe General Manager Service Delivery reports to the Chief Executive and is member of theExecutive Leadership team of MainPower New Zealand Limited.The General Manager Service Delivery (GMSD) is responsible for the delivery of work programmes for the MainPower Network (AMP) and external Customers (CIW). This includes co-ordinating work delivery, pricing, and scheduling to ensure service cost, quality and safety objectives are met. The GMSD is also responsible for enabling Field Services to deliver a quality end-to-end customer experience.The GMSD takes a lead role in managing and improving the efficient operation and performance of theService Delivery team and external contractors. The GMSD is also a Responsible Officer under the MainPower Network Field Service Agreement. In this role the GMSD works with MainPower Network Managers to monitor the relationship between Network and Operations, monitor the performance of each Party, to seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and resolve issues escalated from the Operational Committee.The GMSD must also ensure work pack information includes all necessary hazard and risk information and relevant Company policies and procedures to ensure high standards of safety, quality and environmental outcomes.The GMSD is also responsible for the overall management of MainPower's procurement, supply chain, stores and logistics function, ensuring supply chain risks are mitigated and best value purchasing is negotiated and undertaken.The GMSD is responsible for the procurement policy and process, ensuring contract performance is monitored and reported on, fleet is effectively managed and stock holdings are optimised.
