Web Development Immersive Program at GA in January 2019Front End Web Development Remote with GA in October 2018.Using the latest web development technologies to build full-stack web applications. Some of the technologies include JavaScript, React, Ruby, Rails, Express, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and many other frameworks and libraries. Featured Projects:WhiskeyVerse: Built with React and Rails. This application features a comprehensive list of whiskeys for a user to browse. The user can also add a specific whiskey from the list to a Favorites List or Wish List. In the Favorites, the user can delete a whiskey and give a user score. A future update may feature paginated tables with a search function for easier usability. WhiskeyVerse was a particularly tricky project because React is still a freshly learned framework. Picsta: This is an image link storing application built with Javascript and Rails. A user uploads a direct image link and gives it a caption. When the user retrieves the images, they are appended to the view with a tag. The original goal was for the user to be able to upload an image file directly, but that would have been out of scope for the project specifications. Future implementations may include AWS connectivity so the user can upload an image file directly.Life and Dreams: This is a bucket list style application built with JavaScript, jQuery, and Express. Life and Dreams was a team project focusing on proper version control across multiple team members. In this iteration, the user can input a title and a description for what he or she would like to do or accomplish. A custom logic was implemented to filter out a crossed-off item from an on-going item. Tic-Tac-Toe Game: Built using Javascript and jQuery. The game is functional with a custom game logic. The user can sign-up, sign-in, and play a game with him/herself. There are some minor visual anomalies when specific actions are running.
