I am passionate about the environment and using technology to help transition away from fossil fuels. I have been driving EVs since 2018 and advocating renewable energy for many years. Recently I have been a providing advice and analysis to support individuals and businesses to move into electric vehicles and to optimise their energy usage and costs. I enjoy nothing more than using Excel spreadsheets to explore and analyse energy data.Growing up with computers and with a background in music I have always looked for innovative ways to combine creativity with technology. I have been building websites pretty much since the beginning of the internet and used a variety of software and IDEs over the years before more recently settling in Visual Studio using C# and asp.net with MS SQL databases. My work is diverse and I have worked on many website projects covering a broad spectrum of industries and budgets. I thrive on learning new skills and applying them to bring positive change.Over the last few years I've had a variety of temporary and part time roles to supplement my freelance work including EV Taxi Driver and CSA/Delivery Driver in retail. This allowed me to adapt around my family's needs but, now the kids are older, I'm looking for a full-time position.
