This summer I worked as a finance intern for Sears Holdings' Treasury department. I helped with accounts payable forecasts by performing daily operational updates to forecasting files as well as setting benchmarks for store closure effects on different non-merch category expenses.I also created VBA macros to help automate some of the daily processes as well as performed general analysis for different expense categories and competitor spending. My time at Sears allowed me to implement the knowledge I have gained so far at Indiana University and helped me to understand more about corporate finance and daily responsibilities for a financial analyst.
