Responsible for delivering Command, Leadership and Management training and education to all junior and middle managers within the organisation. This is conducted in accordance with Joint Services Publication (JSP) 822, the Defence Systems Approach to Training. (DSAT) and ILM / CMI awarding bodies. Content included:✔️Analysis of leadership styles, in particular, the military approved Action Centred Leadership three-ball model by John Adair.✔️Subordinate development, including lesson preparation and coaching techniques.✔️Effective written and verbal communication skills.✔️Change management, mapping theoretical models to real life change programmes.✔️Agile thinking skills and ethical decision-making tools.✔️Policy that affects the business.Not only am I able to deliver lessons on the subjects above, I put theory into action. I was a positive driving force behind all organisational change programmes. The two main ones during my tenure: a complete overhaul of the training package and beginning the process of adhering to Ofsted policy.Other skills and responsibilities include:✔️I followed the ADDIE instructional design process to produce a bespoke learning intervention for c400 staff to upskill themselves and further their careers within the organisation.✔️As language lead I ensured the correct French and Arabic language provision was contracted in to give to those tasked to overseas locations the skills for success. For those wishing to learn other languages, I provided comprehensive guidance to ensure they were aware of the policy and funding to progress.✔️As education subject matter expert, I provided advice and guidance on how to exploit the educational opportunities offered by the organisation. This included courses available, funding lines and accreditation options.✔️As the most senior, with regards time served in the organisation, I was a mentor and advisor to the team of 6 educators.✔️I contributed to the continuous improvement of the team.
