Greetings! After more than twenty-five years as part of the association management community, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my expertise and leadership in a variety of non-profit settings, while employing a friendly but no-nonsense management style in my work. I focus on building long-term relationships with members, volunteers and staff, while strengthening each organization's strategic and financial positions. It is important for the volunteers and staff to feel good about what we've accomplished for members and the professions that we represent. But careful analysis, through routine measurement of a variety of data points and member opinions, is often necessary to ensure that we are on the right track. It is crucial for all to understand that the members, not the staff, are the true stakeholders. However, it is equally important that the dedication of our staff, who put their heart and soul into their organizations they serve, is recognized.
