In my 25 years career, I learned one simple truth: “Vision Without Execution is just Hallucination”. The proverb probably derives from an ancient Japanese proverb and was used by some great minds in different timeframes. It is interesting that also in Europe people came to the same conclusion. Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (1091-1153) once said: "Hell is full of good intentions or desires." This has led me to a conclusion. In order to be successful, one (or organization) must understand the need, plan for success and execute as surgeon. To achieve great result, “the 3 pillars” might not be enough. One should not generalize. Therefore, I believe that sincere interest in customer's success is only guarantee that every customer will be addressed individually. My priority is to deliver solution which will empower their innovative potential, lower their operational costs and boost productivity. To achieve this ambitious goal, organizations need a good team of skilled experts. Great teamwork is priced but sometimes difficult to achieve. Great teams are led by servant leaders. Being Agile is one of the options but not the only one. Understanding what fits best and not following daily hype is crucial.
