- Manages projects ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000. Projects are mostly in the geotechnical trade (landslides, bluff stabilization, rock netting, tiebacks, anchors, micro piles, underpinning, creek retaining walls, etc.) but some deal with drainage, foundation improvements (seismic upgrade, shear ply reinforcement, etc.), lifting and leveling of a house, retaining walls (soldier beam, stitch pier, cast-in-place concrete wall, etc.).- Manages construction crews from Marin County to Santa Cruz County.- Estimate new projects, type up proposals and interact between clients , fellow engineers, architects, general contractors, etc. - AutoCAD drafting of engineered plans for permits.- Produce engineering calculations.- Apply and obtain permits from the County/City agencies. - Help in the hiring of new construction members.

Part-time position while attending U.C.S.D. with responsibility for organization of the shop, picking up/delivering parts, creating quotes and handling walk-in customers and operating machinery. Key accomplishments include:Establishing and maintaining annual inventory database for all materials related to shop work. Additional duties included organizing, labeling, bagging and storing samples and specimens. Projects included research for the Office of the Navy with emphasis in acoustic wave management, carbon nanotubes, healable composites, layered composites, muscle modeling, polymer composites, polyurea and sensing composites.
