In using local labour and resources they create much needed employment and income, reduce costs, save foreign currency, and support local industry while increasing the capacity of local institutions.As Senior Program Consultant:- Managed & coordinated multimillion budget programs from design to implementation , aligning with UNSustainable Development Goals SDG agenda, steering it to be recognised as a regional best practice.- Led stakeholder management & engagement among UN government partners and donors, establishing trusted partnerships and achieving expansion of funds, scope and shared value.- Advised the National Employment Intensive Infrastructure Program on implementation, and directed reporting, monitoring & evaluation, putting in place new tools and implementation strategies.- Acted as ILO spokesperson in national inter agency groups and international workshops and seminars.As Advisor to the Minister for Development:Developed the strategy of the Ministry of Social Affairs on sustainable development topics, assuring its institutionalising by the Council of Ministers’ approval and endorsement of the international community. Coordinated the development portfolio of the Ministry.
