Peter is a highly experienced leader and strategist in the development, deployment and governance of enterprise information systems and digital technology solutions. Since 1993, Peter has led diverse, multi-disciplinary teams for private and public-sector clients in the UK, Australia and Asia, on projects ranging from discreet, one-off solutions for local authorities and corporations through to multi-million Pound, national government/enterprise scale implementations. He enjoys the challenge of devising innovative solutions for his clients, and is happiest when working with creative, talented people. He prefers iterative project delivery frameworks such as DevOps and Agile/Scrum, but is equally comfortable working within the Prince2 framework.As an author and storyteller himself, Peter is particularly interested in the use of narrative in a business context, and he is currently demonstrating the power of story with a number of clients in his capacity as Anecdote Ltd’s UK Story Specialist and Programme Manager.Importantly, Peter’s strong work ethic is balanced by his Aussie heritage, which results in the injection of a healthy measure of humour and honesty to his work. Outside of work Peter enjoys tennis, cycling, fellwalking and reading. His favourite creative pursuits include photography and writing. He is a published author of a number of popular travel guidebooks and an ongoing historical adventure series for young adults. He is greatly interested in archaeology; a passion which has led him on several exciting overseas expeditions.
