Providing general accounting duties, including multiple bank reconciliations, general capital accounts payable processing, period ending journal entries, general ledger audits and adjustments, various banking requirements including transfer etc.Provide summary analysis of various cost centers that contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements. Reporting capital acquisitions to the Chief Financial Officer and Capital Approving Officers on a monthly basis.

Responsible for the day-to-day tracking and assessment of financial commitments by maintaining an in house/on line record of all activity between multiple Project Managers, the divisional VP and Financial Services. As well, the recording and reconciliation of all operational and capital accounts, with particular emphasis on legislative requirements, including but not limited to contract administration and MOHLTC reporting requirements. Accountable for the assessment, processing and reporting of all expense invoicing. Responsible for Human Resources issues involving budgeting and staff management, including monitoring and editing the position management system for the division.

Audit and/or input all information required for the accurate completion of staff remuneration, including time coding assessment and error corrections. Ensure any pertinent legislative requirements are met. Knowledge of multiple union contracts as it pertains to compensation. Preparation of all month end / year end reports, including monitoring employee benefit banks, T4’s, month end reconciliations and remittance of all remuneration accounts, including CRA, WSIB, HOOPP, Union Dues, and others as required. Retroactive payment reports and other related items as necessary.
