Started in the media as a news correspondent on staff at The Loomis News in 1974 at age 13. Started a first business in 1978. Created Chromaness Video - a video production company shooting entertainment and musical acts in Lake Tahoe. In 1982, started Hamblin / Stephens Video Production Services in Rancho Cordova. In 1983, started Home Video Services as a wholesale film to tape transfer service based in Roseville, CA that provided film and video transfer services to outlets such as Magnacolor/Technicolor Labs and over 300 retail outlets across the United States. The company was sold in 1986.Televisuals (currently Pacific Crest Media) was started in 1987 in Roseville, CA. With a focus on broadcast quality video production, Televisuals produced 14 movies, multiple television shows and more than a two thousand corporate videos & commercials. Built a production studio in Loomis, CA in the early 1990's under the company name Pacific Crest Picture Company, producing videos and television programs.Spent 18 months as the Director of Marketing for Sierra Pacific Home & Comfort in Rancho Cordova, CA in the mid 1990s. In 1999, came up with an idea for a new consumer product called Spwipes, Sun Protection Wipes. By 2004, Spwipes products were carried in over 2500 outlets including WalMart and Target, with trademarks in 14 countries. The company was closed in 2006 due to the market for sunscreen wipes being eliminated. The FDA has ruled that it is not legal to use "wipes" as an application process for SFP products! In 2011, created CCD Expo which won the Placer County Economic Development Award of the Year, called "The Big Idea". From that event, the ICCDA (International Content Creation & Distribution Association) was created.
