Since qualifying as an architect in the UK have had a wide ranging experience of all aspects of architectural design and construction in both the private and public sectors, involving many building types including those for healthcare, education, commercial, retail, industrial, housing, military, institutional, and social services. Many projects have been taken from inception to completion. Working career originated in the UK but since leaving, have spent over 8 years in Hong Kong and after a brief period back in the UK, spent about 10 years in Saudi Arabia before moving to current location in the USA. Have had a broad experience of managing staff of various nationalities and working with different codes, standards, and practices. From 1992 have been involved with design project management, but more recently, particularly in the USA, have concentrated on construction administration.In addition, have become extensively involved in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for design projects both in Saudi Arabia and the USA. More recently have become interested in sustainable building and have qualified as a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) in Building Design + Construction. Am currently seeking opportunities where I can expand upon my exceptional knowledge and experience of building construction either in project management, construction administration, or as a contractor in providing QA/QC.services to building design firms in order to ensure the quality of their design and production drawings and other construction documents. In this respect intend to become proficient and eventually utilize NAVISWORKS as a tool for Building Information modeling (BIM) and the general quality of construction documents (CDs).
