Responsible for raising the profile of the University’s Research and Business interactions. Advise the Directors of Research and Knowledge Services on appropriate media, technology and language for communication with external business and key partners. Manage an operational team of five full time staff who provided admin, marketing and project support to the organisation’s 1,000+ academics and strategic directors. Project managed the rollout of the University’s Customer Relationship management software, developing process and procedure to deliver an effective, positive change in behaviour with local buy-in. Responsible for ensuring coherent combined marketing strategies with external businesses on partner projects.

Managed and responsible for 2,000 capacity venue, ensuring high service standards, customer safety and compliance with applicable legislation (such as health & safety). Took responsibility for large volumes of cash, its storage and financial reconciliation. Reported daily on shift activityPrepared a report on procurement options for purchase of a £60k cash and stock register system then supervised the installation of the recommended option.

Administrative role with responsibility for the timely delivery of structured admin to around 20 senior army officers. Duties included the booking, tracking and storage of classified materials as well as diary management and updating key MoD computer systems.
