Peter Hoppe is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and college professor with over 30 years of charitable sector leadership experience. He graduated from McGill University and did his post-graduate studies in Institutional Administration at Concordia University. Before establishing Fundamentals and RHA Fund Development, Peter worked for the Kidney Foundation of Canada, was the National Associate Executive Director of Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and Vice-President of Development and Communications for Canadian Feed The Children. As President of Fundamentals and former CEO of RHA, Peter has consulted for over 100 charities and non-profit organizations, helping to maximize potential through innovation, growth and diversification. He is seasoned in many non-profit management and fund development areas, including leadership, strategic planning, individual giving, foundation and corporate grants, and marketing communications. Peter is also a part-time teacher at Seneca College and Humber College, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Non-Profit Management, Fundraising, Leadership, Organizational Behaviour and Social Entrepreneurship. He enjoys volunteering his time and expertise as a speaker and educator on various topics and has presented at numerous conferences. He recently served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Greater Toronto Chapter & Golden Horseshoe Chapt.
