FilmAffects was launched in 2010 and is a full service production company. Trail Magic, The Grandma Gatewood Story won best Local Documentary at the Chagrin Falls Film Festival in October. Our current project "Glass Ceiling" profiles Ohioan Victory Woodhull, the first woman to run for President in the USA in 1872. We are currently focusing on creative content, marketing and informational media, documentary and factual series based projects. For over 25 years our special area of marketing expertise is focused on the healthcare industry. Film & television affects who we are and what we do everyday.We create inspirational shorts, documentaries, essential product and service videos, and dramatic films. 2020 we celebrate "Girls Rock" and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment's ratification! We will have a great line up of female led bands on June 6th, 2020. Put-in-Bay. 2014 was the eighth year of the our summer Music Series held out doors summer evenings. This popular series has now become a day long music event called the Put-in-Bay Music Festival. This years concert will feature a wide array of Americana/ Roots music. A special hands on workshop for children and parents will be held during the day. All events are free to the public.

Big Dog Hill Films continues to pursue outstanding narrative based stories for broadcast and theatrical distribution. "The Conductor" is our current project. This is an evolving documentary effort to promote a possible feature film about John P Parker, a former slave who was an inventor, successful business man in Ripley Ohio and assisted over 400 Freedom Seekers to safety in the north on the Underground Railroad. This is based on John Parker's biography "His Promised Land".

We completed a world class celebration of Commodore Perry's War of 1812 victory of the British in the Battle of Lake Erie, September of 2013 which included 16 tall ships doing an on the water re-enactment, parade of sail, live music and more. Emotion Pictures LLC was a full service broadcast production company in Boston Massachusetts. Emotion Pictures produced several series including John Stobart's World Scape, hosted by Walter Cronkite (PBS) and the Visionaries, hosted by Sam Waterston (PBS). Over the fifteen years in production Emotion produced hundreds of hours of documentary and reality oriented television. We also produced the live annual fundraiser for the Pan Mass Challenge still seen on NECN the first weekend in August and now produced by One4three Creative.
