As a former managing partner and compensation chair, I bring a unique perspective to my client engagements; one that draws from personal experience with the same challenges and opportunities firms currently face. I have worked with more than 750 attorneys (one on one business development coaching), managing partners, CMOs, and practice group leaders since 2005. I offer a combination of skill and experience in law firm management, business development, compensation systems, and counseling. The capacity for self-deception is limitless! In my experience, there is often a disconnect between how the lawyer and client view service and value. Integral to my role in business development and client retention coaching, I conduct client interviews to evaluate satisfaction and to assess clients’ needs. I use this information to design and implement strategic planning and business development programs based on “the voice of the client.” In addition, I conduct compensation assessments and provide analysis and recommendations which increase clients’ profitability. Prior to founding Law Practice Consultants, I practiced law for seventeen years concentrating on business litigation at a mid-size Boston firm.
