A thought leader in IoT and Industrial 4.0, equally adept at business development, consulting, energy economics, expert systems, and quantitative analysis in the areas of finance, traditional statistics, and machine learning. Extensive electric power industry experience, in areas encompassing capital planning, competitive procurement, DSM evaluation, and integrated resource planning; on behalf of utilities, state agencies and consulting firms. Ran the electric power part of Charles River Associates Energy Practice during the 1990s. In 1998 founded NeuCo, which developed, installed and supported machine learning and big data applications for making large fossil-fired boilers run more cleanly, efficiently, and reliably. Sold it to GE in early 2016; stayed on for a couple years helping shape and execute on Jeff Immelt's vision for digital transformation; Deep knowledge of power markets and the players in North America,, Europe, and South Africa. Looking to leverage this experience and knowledge to add value on the regulatory policy and/or generation end of the industry, fossil and/or renewables. With NeuCo (now GE) over almost 20 years, instrumental in all sales, as well as the successful development of business relationships with all NeuCo business partners. Exceptional skills in business strategy, channel management, leadership, and management of cross-functional teams. Equally effective in management roles and as an individual contributor. Founded and grew a company based on big data, machine learning, and edge computing before these terms were commonly used.
