Peter has been working as an actor for 30 years doing a wide range of work from Shakespeare to Soldier Soldier, from Footballers Wives (fully clothed!) to Goethe’s Faust (tastefully nude). These days he works extensively in the corporate sector both as a presenter, and as a Presentation Skills trainer for The Teamworks.His theatre work includes Laertes in Hamlet opposite Daniel Day-Lewis and Judi Dench at the National Theatre; Mephistopheles in Faust opposite Simon Callow at the Lyric Hammersmith (for which he won the London Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor); Norman in The Norman Conquests directed by the author - Sir Alan Ayckbourn; Henry in The Real Thing (for which he was nominated as Best Actor in the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards), the title-role in Macbeth, Ludlow Festival; A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Henry V, Royal Shakespeare Company; Twelfth Night with Eric Porter and directed by Sir Peter Hall, West End; London Assurance, She Stoops To Conquer and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Royal Exchange, Manchester, Much Ado About Nothing and Measure for Measure, Library Theatre, Manchester; .He has toured extensively across America leading productions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing, as well as teaching Acting Shakespeare and Physical Characterisation.
