I took responsibility for some major audits, with large teams to supervise, as well as undertaking special projects and secondment work in commerce/industry. During this period I also passed the first part of my professional examinations. I found the client relationship aspects engaging me more than the large audits and left PW in August 1989 to take up an opportunity in general practice.
