General Manager role reporting to the Managing Director - responsible for UK and SA Compliance, Business Processes, Training and various departments: Data Capturing, Compliance Maintenance, 3rd Party Training and Quality Control.

Control and maintain activities of the company in the most cost effective and time efficient manner. Motivate and mentor members of the management team and chair meetings. Lead the company and further develop the existing corporate culture of the organization.Responsible for both the day-to-day running of the company and developing profitable business plans for the long term future of the company.Ensure continuance of current customer and intercompany relationships. Report to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis to keep them informed of company performance.

Driving development and implementation of all business development strategies.Establishing operating and management structures for all Indiza businesses.Measurement and optimisation of the profitability of all group entities.Appointment of all senior management.Preparation of reports for the Chairman and the Board.

Business Processes – Re-engineering of all internal and administrative processes and procedures to achieve maximum efficiencies. Integration of physical processes with ICT infrastructure and maximizing synergies between them.Accounts and Finance – Planning and controlling of regional expenditure, reporting on income streams, managing supplier channels, analysis of regional finances, compiling regional budgets, financial planning and control.Human Resources – Staff planning and administration, recruitment, disciplinary issues, performance management.Leading New Projects – Planning, implementing, managing capacity and business expansion projects.

Overseeing Operations – Making sure everything comes together smoothly and does it's job.Managing Organisation - Wide Strategy – Foreseeing problems, working around them, mitigating risk, planning.Human Resources – Staff planning, process design, development channels, all BCEA and LRA issues.ICT – Capacity management, systems architecture, overseeing R150 ml investment.Policy Making – Understanding regulations and requirements - formulating policies for efficiency and compliance.Leading New Projects – Planning, implementing, managing capacity and business expansion projects.Compliance – Ensuring internal company-wide corporate compliance and external legislative compliance; Designing and implementing systems to track requirements and compliance levels.Tenders – Responsible for tenders submitted to SA and UK government and private institutions – from conception to costing to operations planning.Projects – Charged with oversight of all projects executed in the company (any department) – involved in every aspect of the process from planning to implementation. Other activities include negotiating with new clients and suppliers, signing off on expenditure, recruiting staff.
