Queensland Government

Established and managed a new start-up division within DPC Communication Services providing media reporting and analysis services to both ministerial offices and government departments. Built a team of skilled professionals providing a range of reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The team was also responsible for live media monitoring and alerting, in-house recordings and assisting with end of campaign media reach analysis findings. This was a whole of government concept developed and implemented by me resulting in significant cost savings with an increased level of client service across all of government. Highlight: 40% cost savings in first quarter of inception resulting in overall savings of close to a $1 million across the contract lifespan.

Media Monitors (now iSentia) is south east Asia's largest media monitoring and information services organisation. Previously it was privately owned with an annualized turnover of $80 million. Media monitoring is a high volume/low margin B2B industry with the aim of providing a 'one stop' shop media management solution for clients. My role had national responsibility for all Federal, State and Local Government accounts, representing 40% of annual company turnover. I had over 75 staff within my reporting line, based across 5 states + the ACT.Highlight: Won the Queensland Government contract by tender 3 times across a 10 year period - still iSentia's largest individual contract across the Group.

Media monitoring is a high volume/low margin B2B industry with the aim of providing a 'one stop' shop media management solution for clients. My role had state responsibility for a client list of over 300 accounts. I had over 50 staff within my reporting line consisting of business development, account service, administration and operations. Highlight: Increased the Queensland office sales turnover by 300%
